The conference is generously hosted by the UCD Humanities Institute and funded by the UCD Decade of Centenaries Programme. The conference is part of a collaborative project between UCD and NUI Galway to mark the 20th anniversary of the closure of Ireland’s last Magdalen Laundry. The first conference was held in NUIG.
